The frame of the Salma Sail SS armchair is crafted from 304-grade stainless steel that's been fully welded to keep moisture from entering its hollow inside and to ensure that it lasts for many summers to come. The seat and backrest of the chair is composed of an open weave Batyline sling that remains tensile and supports the body weight of the person sitting on it, which makes for a comfortable dining chair.
Wintons Teak uses outdoor sling by Batyline®, which is a far more durable sling material, as the individual strands are composed of twisted filaments coated with PVC. Once woven, heat is applied to the material that welds the strands together. This ensures the durability of the materials and prevents tears in the material when weight is applied.
