The design of the Anca bookcase is inspired by the modern skyscraper’s facade, with only vertical timber pieces supporting its shelves. The seemingly randomised placement of these vertical slats creates a unique interplay between positive and negative space. It will soon become apparent that the two spaces merge, complimenting each other, to create a pattern that holds the objects within.
